What Ventlarg does — and doesn't do

Ventlarg is a sales consultancy focused on one thing: the commercial relationship between China and the rest of the world. We work on two sides of that relationship — helping Chinese manufacturers find export customers, and helping brands build a commercial presence in China and international markets.

We are not a trading company, a sourcing agent, or a logistics provider — we work with clients to build the knowledge, strategy, and relationships they need to operate independently.

Our work is practical and specific. We don't produce reports that sit on a shelf. We work directly with the people making sales and distribution decisions, and we measure success by whether deals get done.

How we work

Ventlarg keeps the client roster small on both sides by design. The model depends on genuine network depth — and that doesn't hold up across an unlimited client list.

Before starting an engagement, we do a short fit assessment: whether a factory's product category and certifications map to realistic buyer demand, or whether a brand's category and margin structure are compatible with the markets we're active in. If the fit isn't there, we'll say so rather than take on work we can't see through.

Why the China focus

China's manufacturing base and consumer market are both too large to ignore — and too complex to navigate with generic advice. The regulatory, cultural, and commercial differences between China and Western markets are significant enough that they require dedicated expertise, not a bolt-on service from a generalist consultancy. That's the gap Ventlarg fills.
